At least those connections mean that I shouldn't have to spend much if any time arguing for my right to learn any truths related to merpeople or your songs at all. The truth behind this... malady I apparently have while transformed is something best unraveled as well, but it's not as directly relevant to my ability to do my job. In any case, I would gladly explain terrestrial life in exchange.

Anyway, I believe that before we took that surreal if enlightening tangent into my trying on another species for size, you were explaining the parade of artifacts you showed me earlier, as well as the nature of magical objects in general.
