state of the rp - tl;dr edition again

Want code? I'm still using Laena's code because I can't code to save my life.

state of the rp: general
I wish I had more time, ugh. Midterm season. I like having variety in my game and character lineups but at the same time I sort of miss December, when I only had 2 games and 2 characters to worry about. Still, that had gotten monotonous really fast.
HAVEN
state of the game
I now know what the Haven experience is like. It doesn't feel fast to me; what is fast is how quickly comments pile up in logs and I have to wade through them to find my CR and things to tag. Sometimes I even get too lazy to do that, orz.
character: Kay Faraday [[personal profile] yatagarasu]
age: 17
series: Ace Attorney
time played: More than 3 weeks

muse strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
With enough energy, I can shotgun my way through her tags. Kay has been my strongest muse ever since I began RPing...which is nearly four years ago. Most of the time, at least.

cast strength: □ □ □ □ □
She's a lone canon warrior but Mimi already submitted her Maya app, so Kay won't be alone for long.

plotting capabilities: ■ ■ ■ □ □
She has her Yatagarasu shtick, Little Thief, and a need to find out more about this place. I just have to figure out where and when to deal those cards, and for now I'm mostly just building CR as a foundation of sorts. Also, it's a challenge playing a character with not a lot of regrets, no notable/crippling fears, or negative feelings in a horror game.

shipping potential: ■ ■ □ □ □
I KIND OF SHIP HER WITH INIGO RIGHT NOW but who has time for dates in Haven, really? This has to be the fastest ship I shipped in RP history though.

likelihood of drop: ■ ■ □ □ □
She's fairly new and I'm still getting the hang of this game so no. It's too early to say anything.

development/final thoughts:
I can't really say much so far. Kay remains her usual self, and will try to cheer people up and survive and be a resilient little thief, yup.
HOLLY HEIGHTS
state of the game
The game I have the most plans for. Amazingly, I can pull a lot of plans out from thin air for this. And to think, two years ago I would have said NO I CAN'T DO COMPLETELY SLICE-OF-LIFE GAMES. Boy, did HH change that. I also met tons of amazing people in this game and right now, this is my main game. The best part? It's backtag-friendly for flakes like me.
character: Hisami Hishiishii [[personal profile] hisa]
age: 13
series: R.O.D the TV
time played: 2 months

muse strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ □
Hisami, despite being very much out of my muse element, is easier to play than I thought. She's quiet and shy, sure, but she's not a loner, and I find myself with an opportunity to expand her character beyond what the anime gives us. I haven't been playing her for long but it's fun to get out of my comfort zone every once in a while.

cast strength: □ □ □ □ □
She had Anita with her for a while but now she's a lone canon warrior. I don't foresee any castmates in the future unless R.O.D the TV suddenly becomes super popular.

plotting capabilities: ■ ■ ■ ■ □
As a kid, she has a lot of plotting potential for school shenanigans. She is also a bookworm which means libraries and making a book club. But much of the plotting is mostly getting Hisami to make more friends. Currently she is also trying to write a new novel.

shipping potential: □ □ □ □ □
No thanks. I'm actually not interested in shipping her with anyone at the moment.

likelihood of drop: ■ □ □ □ □
I'm having a lot of fun with her and she's such a breath of fresh air. Besides, I need her to balance out that other guy and I really want to have a kid around HH to get the best of both worlds.

development/final thoughts:
Hisami is making friends but after losing some of her close CR I have to continue working on that. The speed friending event could help her come out of her shell a bit - even if at certain points during that activity she wants to retreat back into her shell. Maybe in a few months I'll have her come out with a new novel.
character: Miles Edgeworth [[personal profile] prosecutory]
age: 26
series: Ace Attorney
time played: 8 months

muse strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ □
His voice is pretty good right now. I just. Have to prioritize his tags sometimes instead of putting them off.

cast strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
This is one of the biggest AA casts I've ever been in. It was pretty small when I apped but now there's more than 10 of us with at least two more reserves. I just really love my cast okay.

plotting capabilities: ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
I have too many plans. With a law firm and the court in place, trials can happen. There are the usual investigations and him being awkward and stuff and talking to everyone ever and family/married lyfe. The possibilities are endless. And that's not even counting the events.

shipping potential: ■ ■ ■ ■ □
DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT. The ships won't happen ICly unless we invest an inordinate amount of time and energy into them and also because Edgeworth is too dense for words and wouldn't know love even if it shot an arrow into his face. Uh, knowing that a creepy old lady stalker needs a life is an entirely different thing. Even HE knows that.

likelihood of drop: □ □ □ □ □
I...can't. I'll backtag and backdate to heaven and back but I don't think I can drop him at this point. At first I thought OH I'LL JUST BE HERE FOR A FEW MONTHS AND LOSE INTEREST BECAUSE I ALWAYS WANT MY GAMES TO HAVE SOME SORT OF ELEMENT OF WEIRDNESS. But no. Nope nope nope.

development/final thoughts:
Still working on building up his fatherly side. Hopefully he gets at least one kid from this app cycle. He probably also has some sense of closure after telling his complete story to Gregory but his development is usually in baby steps.
SOUL CAMPAIGN
state of the game
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ALMOST ENDGAME. Which means I'm going to be in this all the way till the end. SC will always have a special place in my heart and it is the reason why Edgeworth has never been without the game these past 3 1/2 years. I have learned so much about RP and Edgeworth in this game which is why I'm contemplating CRAU-ing him later on. I have no definite plans yet but yeah.
character: Miles Edgeworth [[personal profile] prosecutory]
age: 26 27
series: AA
time played: 3 1/2...YEARS

muse strength: ■ ■ ■ ■ □
See above.

cast strength: □ □ □ □ □
Lone canon warrior again, but I understand that this sort of setting can be difficult for an AA character. I actually don't mind at all - and this coming from someone who usually wants all the castmates. IDK, I already play in one big AA cast so I'm good with being a lone canon warrior in another game.

plotting capabilities: ■ ■ ■ □ □
Right now I'm more interested in getting him to do more missions and get closer to forging Genesis into a Death Scythe. Unfortunately this means Agency things get pushed to the backburner. I'm also watching for events and other CR opportunities. Battles will always be my favorite part because I'm horrible.

shipping potential: ■ □ □ □ □
He's still unsure of what to make of how Yoko confessed her feelings for him a long, long time ago. I continue shipping him with Azusa too. Always.

likelihood of drop: □ □ □ □ □
It's almost endgame. Why stop now?

development/final thoughts:
I'm super pleased with how his development turned out so far. He had so many unforgettable experiences in SC that when the game ends, one of my plans is to take him with his SC memories and powers to a game that accepts CRAUs. Edgeworth has gotten stronger but he constantly believes he still has a long way to go, and manages to make time for his day job as a prosecutor. Yeah, prosecutor and one of the heads of the Agency by day, two-star (HOLY FUDGE HE GOT UP TO TWO-STAR I'M SO PROUD) Meister by night...or whenever needed.
